Immaculate Conception is the belief Mary is free of original sin. The Catholic Church commits the month of August to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The Immaculate Heart speaks to the longing of the Blessed Virgin to convey all individuals to her Son.
The Christian life has no better case than that offered by Mary. Through the accompanying petitions, which extend our commitment to her Immaculate Heart, we can join the Mother of God in moving nearer to Christ.
August is the month of the Immaculate Conception
This prayer is a constant favorite among the prayers to Virgin Mary. It has long been a part of the Liturgy of the Hours, the Church’s official daily prayer.
Hail, holy Queen, mother of mercy, our life, our sweetness and our hope. To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve. To thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn the, most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us, and after this our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary! Pray for us, O holy Mother of God, that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ. Amen
Bulletin library is easy to create
A bulletin library is a collection of resources, ideas, prayers, and humor for your bulletin. Having a bulletin library allows you to add content beyond bulletin announcements to the bulletin. Readers may keep the bulletin handy all week because they find your information valuable.
Saving and adding to your library is easy if you take time to start collecting. A few minutes a day searching the Internet or searching other sources reaps enormous rewards with your audience. Repeating information from year to year is OK. But we suggest you build your collection all the time.
